Children 12 years of age and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult when inside the Tribute Communities Centre.

In the case of an event where guests must be 19 years of age or older, a valid piece of photo identification will be required upon entry for all guests.

Aisle Policy – “Wait for the Whistle”

For all events at the Tribute Communities Centre, aisles in the lower bowl and on the floor level must remain clear and unobstructed at all times. For the safety of all guests, and to adhere to Provincial Fire and Building Codes, we ask that all fans refrain from standing, sitting or dancing in the aisles.

During Oshawa Generals games, as a safety precaution and so that fellow Generals fans do not miss any of the action on the ice, Oak View Group staff will ask fans on the main concourse to wait at the top of the aisle until the end of a play and a whistle, to return to their seats. This “Wait for the Whistle” policy will be enforced throughout the game and your cooperation is appreciated.

Please note some events require guests to wait at the top of sections until a break in the performance to reduce guest’s disruption and distraction. You will be notified by the usher at your section if this policy is in effect.

Alcohol Policy

Under licensing with the AGCO, we are responsible to regulate the sale, service, and consumption of beverage alcohol. Oak View Group’s goal at the Tribute Communities Centre is to promote safe and responsible alcohol service.

  • Guests are not permitted to pass or provide alcohol to minors at any time.
  • Any person consuming alcohol must be 19 years of age or older and must be able to provide an acceptable form of photo ID upon request.

Any violation of the above policies may result in a refusal of entry, an ejection or potentially an arrest; all without refund. Seating Charts/Maps

Seating charts (maps) can be found on the event specific webpage with all other event related information. If you are on a computer, please find the View Seating Chart link on the right side, blue area of the page. If you are on a mobile device, please scroll down slightly.

If you are purchasing tickets for an event and are looking for the Pick Your Own Map, please note we do not activate the pick your own map for high demand presales and on sales as the user experience is rarely pleasant due to the number of fans clicking on seats. By the time a fan clicks on a set of seats, you likely would receive a 'these seats are no longer available' message. The pick your own maps are typically activated after we see website traffic slow down which will be after the presales and on-sale date. For presales, guests can select from the 'Best Available' option or specific price levels. For public onsales, guests can similarly select from the 'Best Avaialble' option and specific price levels or they can visit the ticket office in person to select specific seating options until the pick your own map is activated. For some events, the promoter may also request that a pick your own map is not utilized and therefore will not be activated.

Secondary Ticket Market

Paciolan is the only authorized ticketing agent of Tribute Communities Centre. The Tribute Communities Centre does not encourage purchasing tickets from the secondary ticket market. Tickets purchased from an unauthorized agent may be counterfeit, stolen or otherwise void and may not be valid for admission to the event. Fraudulent tickets presented at an event will be confiscated and will not be honoured and no compensation will be provided. We will forward any information or materials requested by police services and will cooperate fully in any investigation regarding counterfeit or fraudulent tickets.

Please note, if you use a search engine to type in ‘Tribute Communities Centre,’ ‘Tribute Centre,’ ‘TCCentre’ or any other variation, be aware of the link you are clicking on. Search engines, such as Google, have ads located above the true search results which are typically purchased by reselling companies and are not official ticketing outlets for the Tribute Communities Centre. Always ensure you type www.tributecommunitiescentre.com directly into your browser’s address bar. Tickets for our events are always sold in Canadian currency.

Security and Searches

All guests will be subject to a search in order to prevent individuals from bringing unauthorized or prohibited items into the facility. Upon entering the Tribute Communities Centre, a security search is required for all events, in order to ensure the safety of all guests and staff.

Such search may be by way of a bag check, physical pat-down or by security metal detection. These processes may require guests to remove items from their pockets or items of clothing like jackets or hats for a thorough search. Please note security protocols may vary by event and is up to the discretion of the venue and/or promoter.

Any prohibited items found during a search will be discarded or may be returned to the guest's vehicle. Guests who refuse to submit to a search process shall be refused entry, without refund.

Single Seat Remaining

When purchasing your seats, you can not leave a gap (a single seat) between occupied seats or the aisle. You will receive the following error message if you attempt to do so:

Your requested seats have been released because you may not leave a gap between occupied seats. Please select again.

Smoking

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the Tribute Communities Centre at all times as well as the exterior property of the venue. Durham Region’s by-law states you cannot smoke or vape on the outdoor grounds of a community recreational facility or any public areas within 20 metres of its grounds. The Smoke-Free Ontario Act, 2017 combined with the new regional Smoking and Vaping By-law, helps to provide area residents with an increased level of protection from both indoor and outdoor exposure to second-hand smoke or vape in public spaces, as well as protection for employees from exposure in the workplace. More information on the Durham Region Smoking and Vaping By-law can be found on the Durham Region website.
