All fans entering our venue, including those acting as a support person for patrons with a disability, are required to hold a valid ticket. Tickets are subject to standard event pricing.

Arriving at the venue

Accessible Parking

Designated accessible parking is available for any guest with a valid accessibility permit on Red Tilson Lane which is located on the West side of the venue and can be entered from Bruce Street. These spaces are first-come, first-served and subject to all applicable City of Oshawa accessible parking rules and/or restrictions. Parking of any kind is not permitted in the roundabout at the top of Red Tilson Lane as it is utilized as a drop off area for those with accessible needs.

There are also accessible parking spaces on Bruce Street, Charles Street and Athol Street East surrounding the venue.

Entrances and Elevators

Both Gate 1 and Gate 2 entrances at the Tribute Communities Centre are designated accessible as they are reachable from street level and have direct access to an elevator. Should you require access to the floor level for a live event, entrances may be restricted on a per-event basis. If you have questions in regards to which gate is best to enter based on your seating location, please contact our Accessibility Coordinator, Nicole Mayer at 905-448-1563 or email nicole.mayer@oakviewgroup.com.

BlindSquare beacons have been installed in the Tribute Communities Centre which enables users who are visually impaired to better navigate within the venue. The app describes the surrounding environment and announces points of interest such as entrances, exits and washrooms. The free BlindSquare Event app is available in multiple languages for iPhone users through Apple’s App Store.

Service Animals

All service animals are welcome at the Tribute Communities Centre but must remain on a leash or harness at all times. Please have your animal clearly marked upon arrival and ensure you have valid documentation with you. Please notify your ticket seller at time of purchase if an aisle seat is required for your service animal.

Special Effects

Some events may include special effects such as smoke, haze, pyrotechnics and flashing and strobe lighting.

Washrooms

All washroom facilities at the Tribute Communities Centre are wheelchair accessible. In addition, two Universal Washrooms are located on the main concourse and two are on the suite level and accommodate all guests including guests with accessible needs.

These Universal Washrooms have additional features including an emergency call system that consists of audible and visual signal devices inside and outside of the washroom that are activated by the control device located next to the toilet in case of emergency as well as a door that is capable of being locked from the inside and released from the outside in case of emergency. These Universal Washrooms also serve families with small children who need assistance and have baby change tables in each.

Wheelchair Assistance

As a courtesy, a limited number of complimentary wheelchairs are available at all performances to assist fans to and from their seating areas. Wheelchair assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the limited number of wheelchairs available, they may not be borrowed or rented as seating during an event. If wheelchair assistance is necessary during an event, please notify the nearest staff member or prearrange with our Accessibility Coordinator. Guests are required to supply a piece of valid photo ID should their companion be escorting them without a member of the building present.
