SPECTRA AWARDS ALLYSON POLIDANO AS THE SEVENTH WINNER OF THE KEY TO THE TCC CONTEST
THURSDAY, JANUARY 12, 2017 - Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, the providers of Venue Management and Ticketing & Fan Engagement to the Tribute Communities Centre, are thrilled to announce the winner of the seventh annual Key to the TCC contest presented by KX96, CKDO Radio and Candz Print Inc.. Allyson Polidano of Oshawa was named this year’s winner, which grants her access to every event in 2017 at the Oshawa, Ontario venue.
“Each year the winner continues to be in disbelief and will tell us how surreal it feels to be chosen,” expressed William Balfour, Director of Marketing & Group Sales for Spectra at the Tribute Communities Centre. “It’s always great to be able to give back to the fans in the community and this is a great opportunity that allows us to do that each year.”
Spectra launched the contest originally in 2010 and each year it has grown in popularity. Spectra Venue Management has recognized the success of this contest and has since launched the idea in many other markets it provides venue management for. Some of these venues include the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, home to the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL and the 76ers of the NBA; Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario; FirstOntario Centre, Hamilton Place and Molson Canadian Studio in Hamilton, Ontario; Augusta Entertainment Complex in Augusta, Georgia; Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa; and many other venues that are in the midst of launching their inaugural Big Ticket Contest.
Numerous events are already on the 2017 event calendar at the Tribute Communities Centre including Tim Hicks, 3HL Tour, Dierks Bentley, Blue Rodeo, American Trilogy: The 3 Eras of ELVIS, Bubble Guppies Live!, Tom Cochrane, Dean Brody, Oshawa Generals games and Oshawa Outlaws games for the newly formed Arena Lacrosse League.
The Key to the TCC contest, presented by KX96, CKDO Radio and Candz Print Inc., ran November 14, 2016 to December 23, 2016 and had a total of 19,594 entries.
