Today, January 16, 2023, platinum-selling singer/songwriter Lee Brice has announced his "Beer Drinking Opportunity Tour" with special guests Tenille Arts and Josh Ross, hitting arenas across Canada this spring including Oshawa's Tribute Communities Centre on Friday, April 28, 2023.
About Lee Brice:
When Curb Records recording artist, Lee Brice, isn't selling out arenas, writing and recording songs, or building new brands like American Born whiskey, you'll find the family man with his wife Sara, two young boys, and daughter. Meanwhile, with over 3.7 billion on-demand streams, and over 3.6 billion spins on Pandora, Brice continues to enjoy massive success at country radio, digital streaming services, and on the road. He recently reached #1 at Country Radio with Platinum-selling “Memory I Don’t Mess With,” which consecutively follows three prior #1s: ASCAP’s 2021 Country Song of the Year and 3x Platinum track “One of Them Girls,” “I Hope You’re Happy Now” with Carly Pearce, and “Rumor,” which was nominated in the category Single of The Year at the 55th Annual ACM Awards. One of the most-played country artists of all time on Pandora, he was the second country artist behind Keith Urban to receive the Pandora Billionaire plaque. Lee is also a GRAMMY nominee, a CMA and ACM award winner, and he's taken nine radio singles to Number One: "A Woman Like You," "Hard to Love," "I Drive Your Truck," "I Don’t Dance," "Drinking Class," “Rumor," “I Hope You’re Happy Now," “One of Them Girls,” and “Memory I Don’t Mess With.” Garth Brooks, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney and others have recorded his songs, and he's performed on numerous TV shows, including NBC's Today, ABC's The Bachelor, NBC's The Voice and FOX's Miss USA 2018. Lee performed as part of the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song honoring Garth Brooks, aired on PBS March of 2020. At the 54th Annual CMA Awards, Lee took home the prize for Musical Event of the Year for his song with Carly Pearce, "I Hope You're Happy Now." At the 56th ACM Awards, “I Hope You’re Happy Now” won Single of the Year and Music Event of the Year, and Lee and Carly Pearce performed the song live. Lee’s latest album, Hey World, features current radio single “Soul.”
About Tenille Arts:
In a world of dreams, Tenille Arts has seen more come true in the last couple of years than even she could have imagined, and the latest of which is the release of her new full-length album Girl To Girl. The album follows her ground-breaking Love, Heartbreak, & Everything in Between collection, which yielded the #1 hit “Somebody Like That.” The single, which was recently certified platinum in the U.S., made history as the first #1 Country single written, produced and performed by an all-female cast. Her 2016 self-titled debut EP peaked at #1 on the iTunes Canada Top Country Album Chart and cracked the Top 100 on the U.S. iTunes Country Album Chart. Tenille was inducted into the prestigious CMT Next Women of Country Class of 2021 and named one of the five 2021 CRS New Faces of Country Music. In 2022, she was nominated for the ACM New Female Artist of the Year, iHeart Radio Music Awards Best New Country Artist. Her “Back Then, Right Now” single led to CMT Music Awards nominations for Female Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year. Rolling Stone named her one of their “10 New Country Artists You Need To Know,” calling her “An edgy, Fearless-era Taylor Swift with crystalline vocals; ideal for hopeless romantics who are fire signs.”
About Josh Ross:
Echoing the primary themes of country in his pop-rock-infused way, Josh Ross’s take on love, work, and play is often documented through his whirlwind experiences. From moving to Nashville on the night of a tornado, leaving only a month later when a global pandemic arrived, to developing an ever-evolving career amidst the drawbacks of injuries, lockdowns, and conflicting relationships, Josh Ross is a country artist bound by the act of forging past and overcoming restraints. Josh Ross debuted as an artist with his independently released Top 5 chart-topping cathartic ballad on romantic losses, "First Taste Of Gone." Capturing attention across the US with placement on Spotify's top country playlists like Hot Country, New Boots, Next From Nashville, and Breakout Country, "First Taste of Gone" proved the rising Nashville star's emerging presence in country music. Garnering over 32.1 million global streams, the CCMA Rising Star nominated singer-songwriter continues to mould his firsthand experiences into engaging, hit-making storylines while impacting an international music stage.
