Restaurant Supervisor
TITLE: Restaurant Supervisor
REPORTS TO: F&B Director and F&B Managers
COMPANY: Oak View Group

STATUS: Part Time
SUMMARY:
As a Restaurant Supervisor you are responsible in providing leadership, management and oversight to all aspects of the restaurant, catering, and suite catering operations for the Tribute Communities Centre while working alongside the Restaurant and Catering Manager. While working in this fast-paced environment, this position will ensure a high standard of products and services are provided to restaurant, suites, group rooms and catering guests. As a Hospitality Supervisor you are expected to use effective leadership and communication skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for day-to-day operational efficiency of the different areas: Restaurant, Catering, Suites, QS.
- Leads by example and demonstrates passion for guest experience by supporting floor operations
- Develops, fosters and leads positive relationships with customers, partners, stakeholders and employees
- Oversees and ensures guest satisfaction and operational excellence; handling concerns in a timely manner
- Coach and motivate staff during games and events, training and development of staff
- Work quickly and independently to resolve operational issues when necessary, ensuring proper follow-up with Managers and Director.
- Control inventory within assigned area to ensure the smooth operation of the unit
- Participate in all fields of administrative work including but not limited to: opening/closing duties, cleaning checklists, tracking sales and service statistics nightly, performance reviews, and maintenance logs
- Monitor and manage product quality, work with the Culinary team to ensure product consistency
- Adhere to all Spectra service standards and policies including Health & Safety
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by the manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-3 years experience as a supervisor
- Solid understanding and practical knowledge of hospitality business principles and service etiquette
- Effective team management experience
- A proactive approach toward day-to-day activities and shifting demands
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and wine and competent with POS
- An aptitude for identifying and assessing details, perform well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional interpersonal, and communication skills
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Food Safety and AGCO
- An ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction

Quick Service Supervisor
JOB TITLE: Quick Service Supervisor

JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Coach and motivate staff during games and events
- Strictly ensure responsible alcohol service using Smart Serve principles
- Ensure AGCO and OVG360 policies and regulations are followed
- Supervise and direct the prompt, efficient and friendly serving of all food and beverage
- Work quickly and independently to resolve operational issues when necessary, ensuring proper follow up with the Department Manager
- Control inventory in all Quick Service locations to ensure the smooth operation of the department
- Participate in all fields of administrative work including but not limited to: opening/closing duties, cleaning checklists, tracking sales and service statistics nightly, performance reviews, and maintenance logs
- Monitor and manage speed of service and product quality
- Assist in the training and development of staff
- Adhere to all OVG360 service standards and policies including Health & Safety
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned

Restaurant Server / Bartender
TITLE: Restaurant Server/ Bartender
REPORTS TO: Restaurant Manager / Restaurant Supervisor

JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly and courteous manner while ensuring the smooth operation of the assigned section.
- Maintain full knowledge of the restaurant food & beverage menu items and daily specials which includes food ingredients and preparation methods as well as beers, cocktails and wine.
- Promote and upsell certain menu items as indicated by the restaurant manager.
- Check for accuracy, quality and presentation for all items ordered by the guests prior to serving.
- Responsible for serving food products & beverages to guests following all proper procedures including AGCO regulations. Must check guest’s ID to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
- Process guest’s orders to the kitchen via P.O.S. system.
- Continuously identify and respond to any guest requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Responsible for computing the cost of the meal and presenting the guest with the check. Accept payments and provide change as necessary.
- Clean and sanitize assigned area according to the health and safety standards.
- Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
- Ability to handle cash accurately is required. Employee is responsible for issued float at his/her bar.
- Must be able to perform and complete other tasks as required by the management team and/or supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years’ experience as a server/bartender in a fast-paced restaurant/lounge setting.
- Friendly, attentive and passionate for delivering exceptional food and beverage service and exceeding customer expectations.
- Ability to build strong relationships with guests in order to promote guest satisfactions and repeat business.
- Solid understanding and practical knowledge of restaurant business principles and service etiquette.
- A proactive approach toward day-today activities and shifting demands.
- Highly responsible and reliable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, spirits and beer.
- Competent with POS system.
- Ability to work well under pressure; in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Food Runner
TITLE: Food Runner
REPORTS TO: Restaurant Manager / Restaurant Supervisor

JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist bartenders and servers by delivering food and beverage orders to customer’s table rapidly and accurately.
- Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
- Communicate food orders to kitchen staff while paying attention to priorities and special requests and food allergies.
- Maintain orders according to each table and food ticket.
- Ensure flawless service and quality assurance.
- Monitor stock levels, cleanliness of service and prep areas.
- Resolve order discrepancies quickly and effectively.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and managers..
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year experience as working in similar setting.
- Physical ability to carry plates and trays continuously during the shift.
- Solid understanding and practical knowledge of restaurant business principles and service etiquette
- Comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant menu

Security Personnel Team Member
TITLE: Security Personnel Team Member
REPORTS TO: Director of Events and Ice Programming & Event Services Manager
DEPARTMENT: Event Services
STATUS: Part-Time
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Respond to all security needs and call for services; secure areas of facility for escalated emergency response, if necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons and employees
- Greet all Fans in a welcoming and friendly manner
- Conduct regular inspections of all patrol and fixed post assignments
- Write reports; ensuring accuracy of reported data and proper report presentation
- Maintain secure environment throughout Tribute Communities Centre at all times
- Act as ambassador for OVG360
- Inform Fans of seat locations and provide assistance where needed
- Retrieve and verify Fans’ tickets, as required
- Direct Fans with special needs/requests to Fan Services
- Support all departments with security or fan related escalations as required
- Restrict access to parking lot as directed recognizing authorized passes and utilizing parking lists
- Be able to move and carry parking barrier
- Adhere to all OVG360 service standards and policies, including Health and Safety
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational health and Safety Act
- Able to pay close attention to detail
- Work with enthusiasm and professionalism at all times
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess a valid Ontario Security License, as defined by the Private Security and Investigative Services Act.
- Possess valid Smart Serve Certification
- Able to work flexible and sometimes demanding schedules (including: nights, weekends and holidays)
- Excellent customer service, client relations, interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in event related role is an asset
- Must be accurate and detail oriented
- Must be physically fit to perform all essential duties/requirements associated with this job
- Strong knowledge of Alcohol Control Policies in event driven industry is an asset
- Knowledge of Event Services and affiliated roles & responsibilities
- Possession of valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certification is a requirement
